Phycitodes lacteella



Subspecies

Eight subspecies are recognized. The nominate form does not occur in Germany; it occurs in  North Africa and the Canary Islands. The subspecies that also occurs in Germany is Phycitodes lacteella delattini.

Rotruda bentinckella delattini Roesler, 1965
Phycitodes lacteella delattini (Roesler, 1965)




Distribution
The nominate subspecies is distributed in North Africa and the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lancarote).
Phycitodes lacteella delattini is distributed in south east and eastern Europe, northern Italy, southern France, and in Asia Minor and western Russia. In Germany only a record from Saarland.
