Synonyms
Leptidea sinapis juvernica Williams, 1946
Leptidea juvernica (Williams, 1946)
Leptidea reali auct. nec Reissinger, 1989 (misidentification)

Note: previously, Leptidea reali was believed to be distributed across Europe, but recent results by Dinca et al. (2011) suggest that two species are involved. The true Leptidea reali is restricted to Spain, southern France and Italy, whereas the specimens from the rest of Europe belong to a previously unrecognized species. However, a new name for the new species was not necessary, because the name "juvernica" is available.
