Coelotes atropos
Dunkle Bodentrichterspinne

Subspecies
Three subspecies were previously recognized for a long time, but these were all synonymized by Breitling et al. 2015: these taxa are not subspecies but only individual color variants of a single polymorphic species.

Note: Clubiona saxatilis Blackwall, 1833 is a primary senior homonym of Clubiona saxatilis L. Koch, 1867 (see Clubiona dvoraki)

The status of the taxon Coelotes simoni has been discussed by Breitling et al. 2015. They concluded that it is a synonym of the present species.
