SCHEDULE

Here you find the original course schedule for this semester. Some minor variation to this original schedule occurred to accommodate students' particular time preferences. All students are expected to give presentations on the respective topics. Each session is to consist of ca. 30 minutes presentation as well as exercises and discussion including my own input. The main textbooks are Schmitt, Norbert. ed. 2010. An Introduction to Applied Linguistics. 2nd ed. London & New York: Routledge, and Simpson, James. ed. 2011. The Routledge Handbook of Applied Linguistics. London & New York: Routledge, both of which are available in my semester apparatus. The respective chapters should be consulted first but you will need to incorporate a lot of further literature in your presentations, as found, for example, in the Bibliography.
