Note: the status of the taxa tschangkuensis and vandarbana is unclear: they are currently regarded as synonyms of the nominate form, but I think that this is at least doubtful, because these taxa have been described from Asia where the nominate form is replaced by several other subspecies. Thus, it is likely that these taxa are either synonyms of one of the subspecies listed above under "Subspecies" or that they are valid subspecies themselves; I provisionally list them here in the synonymy of the nominate subspecies until more information about their status becomes available.
