Distribution
A southern species that requires hot and dry habitats. In Germany, the species is only known from Baden Württemberg (Kaiserstuhl and Isteiner Klotz).


Biology
Requires hot and dry habitats; winged individuals in July and August. The colonies are mostly under stones and mostly disperse by division rather than swarming.
