Neochrysocharis arvensis

Subspecies

Original description

Synonyms
Neochrysocharis arvensis Graham, 1963
Closterocerus arvensis (Graham, 1963)
Chrysonotomyia arvensis (Graham, 1963)

Identification

Distribution
Not yet recorded from Germany. However, the species of Neochrysocharis and related genera are not well studied and their true range of distribution is just being compiled. The present species has been first described from the UK, but in the meantime has been recorded from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Greece and former Yugoslavia. This indicates a pan-European distribution and the occurrence of N. arvensis in Germany is at least possible.
