Misidentifications:
Pentatoma
baccarum auct. nec Linnaeus, 1758
Dolycoris baccarum auct. nec Linnaeus, 1758
This name refers to Dolycoris baccarum, but from ca. 1850 to 1900 this name frequently was misapplied to denote the present species. Thus, Dolycoris baccarum in older literature may refer to the present species rather than genuine Dolycoris baccarum.
