However, these authors neglect the fact that a lectotype has been selected and the name Berytus affinis is thus fixed to this lectotype only. The lectotype belongs to Berytinus crassipes and thus Berytus affinis is a synonym of Berytinus crassipes and not of Berytinus montivagus. Identification Distribution Biology |
