Note: this is a nomen dubium. The lectotype is
extant, but is a female and cannot be assigned
with confidence to any known Bradysia species
(Menzel and Mohrig (1999)); progress in the
identification of female Bradysia and the
study of DNA from the type and comparison with
other species might provide more information.
