Rhamphomyia sulcata

Subspecies

Original description

Synonyms
Empis sulcata Meigen, 1804
Rhamphomyia sulcata (Meigen, 1804)
Rhamphomyia rugicollis Meigen, 1822
Rhamphomyia trilineata Zetterstedt, 1859 (nomen dubium, see note below)
Rhamphomyia propinqua De Meijere, 1918

Note: Rhamphomyia trilineata is a nomen dubium. Chvala and Wagner (1989) suggest that it might belong to the Rhymphomyia sulcata-species group. The original description is not sufficient to identify R. trilineata as either R. sulcata, R. sulcatella, or R. sulcatina, so I very tentatively place the name in the synonymy of the present species.
