In recent years the species has expanded its range to the west and has been recorded in Europe first in 2008. It is so far recorded from Italy, France and Switzerland. The first finds for Germany were recorded in 2011 (Heuck 2012). It is recorded from the following Länder: Niedersachsen (Stuke et al. 2020), Bayern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Baden-Württemberg.
