Note: a species with the species name
"bimaculata" has been described three times
independently in Bolitophila. Bolitophila
bimaculata Von Roser, 1840 is also a synonym of
the present species, but the identity of
Bolitophila bimaculata Schummel, 1847 (described
from Poland) is unclear.
