Original description Synonyms Tullbergia spinosissima Wahlgren, 1906 (p. 9) Dinaphorura spinosissima (Wahlgren, 1906) Tullbergia septemspina Schaller, 1949 (p. 268) (nomen nudum) (unclear synonym) Identification Distribution This species is only known from Tierra del Fuego and the antarctic Kerguelen islands. There is a record from Germany of a species named Tullbergia septemspina. Although this name is a nomen nudum, Salmon (1964) suggests that this name could be a synonym of Dinaphorura spinosissima. If one accepts this notion, then the mentioning of Tullbergia septemspina is a very doubtful German record of Dinaphorura spinosissima. But see also Clavophorura septemseta.
