< Previous    |    Next >

Subspecies
No information has been entered yet.

Synonyms
Cerambyx balteus Linnaeus, 1767 (p. 1067)
Cerambix balteus (Linnaeus, 1767)
Parmena balteus (Linnaeus, 1767)
Type locality: "Lusitania", here interpreted as Portugal.

Note: the species name "balteus" is the latin word for "belt" and thus is a noun in apposition that is not adjusted to the grammatical gender of the genus name.

Identification
No information has been entered yet.

Distribution
Distributed in southern France, southern Spain, alpine Italy and the western part of Switzerland. I know of no published record for Germany, but the species might reach the south-western border of Baden-Württemberg.
