Subspecies

Original description

Synonyms

Eucta kaestneri Crome, 1954

The status of Tetragnatha isidis is unclear. Several authors regard it as a synonym of the present species, but the currently available evidence for this is very weak and I provisionally regard it as a separate species.

Identification

Distribution
This species is a very rare species and is included in the Red Lists of several European countries. Its relation to the taxon Tetragnatha isidis is unclear and several authors lump the two taxa; therefore their distribution is unclear. Confirmed records of the present species are from Austria, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, Romania. Further records from other countries most probably concern Tetragnatha isidis, a taxon of unclear status (Fedoriak et al. 2016).
