Triaeris stenaspis Simon, 1891

Identification

Distribution
Known from the Carribean. The species reproduces parthenogenetically (see also Theotima minutissima) and thus is easily introduced into other suitable areas; a single specimen is enough to found a new population. So far the species is established in Germany only in greenhouses in Berlin, Brandenburg and Sachsen-Anhalt, but in the warm months of the year the animals might also be encountered outdoors.
