Note: Aranea nigrita is regarded as a nomen
oblitum by many authors. However, it has been
in use as the valid name for this species in
the time roughly between 1870 and 1902 and
thus cannot simply be declared a nomen oblitum
without a proper analysis of the literature.
Thus, this case requires further research.
