Clubiona rubripes

Subspecies
No subspecies are recognized.

Original description

Synonyms
Clubiona rubripes Hahn, 1827 (unpaginated, described on second page)

Note: this is a nomen dubium that cannot be identified with any other known species. It has been described from the Bavarian Alps on the basis of specimen(s) collected from under stones. This argues against the species being a true Clubiona. I suggest that it belongs in the Gnaphosidae instead. The figure in Hahn´s work suggests that it might be identical to Gnaphosa leporina. If its assignment to Clubiona is considered to be correct, it might also be a very dark specimen of Clubiona reclusa.

Identification

Distribution
