Research Interest
Recently I am working in the Young Researcher Group "Biotic Ecosystem Services" (BESS) in the field of pollination. I investigate the effects of different landscape elements and land use types in agricultural landscapes on diversity, abundance and fitness of different pollinator groups, concentrating on bees and hoverflies.
In addition I am interested in biotic interactions, pollination of crops and wild plants and in the development of appropriate conservation measures to maintain the pollinator diversity in agricultural landscapes.
