SEMANTICS

Room: ÜR 12

SCHEDULE

Here you find the suggested course schedule. Each student is required to give a presentation within a group, which will make up 20% of the final mark. Our main textbook, which everyone is supposed to read, is J. Saaed, Semantics, 3rd ed. (Oxford, 2009). Chapters which may be consulted as a starting point for the presentations are mentioned below, though you are required to use further sources, as found, for example, in the Bibliography. Some suggestions are included in the schedule, and there is also a section called "further reading" at the end of each chapter in the textbook.

It is highly recommended that you visit a Themenbereich-Tutorial, where you will learn how to write your term paper. You will have to apply for a place at SB@Home.
