This ftp site provides access to the genomic resources for wild mouse species generated at the Max-Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plšn ( http://www.evolbio.mpg.de/ ), Department of Evolutionary Genetics (Diethard Tautz). 
The details are published in: Harr et al. Genomic resources for wild populations of the house mouse, Mus musculus, and its close relative Mus spretus. Scientific data (2016).

##specific information for directory /track_commands ##
This directory includes a list of files with UCSC browser track command lines. These can be directly loaded into the UCSC browser custom track window through cpy paste. The corresponding analysis tracks are in the subdirectories for each subspcies or species.

There are separate track line collections for each analysis mode.

Note that the display window for the transcript_track_lines is set to n=1000 (viewLimits=0:1000), implying that medium level expressed trancripts are particularly well visible. To focus on low level transcription, this can be set to n=10 (viewLimits=0:10).
