This ftp site provides access to the genomic resources for wild mouse species generated at the Max-Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön ( http://www.evolbio.mpg.de/ ), Department of Evolutionary Genetics (Diethard Tautz). 
The details are published in: Harr et al. Genomic resources for wild populations of the house mouse, Mus musculus, and its close relative Mus spretus. Scientific data (2016).

##specific information for directory /wildmouse ##
The files are organized in sub-directories according to species (or sub-species) names. For example, all data associated with Mus musculus domesticus populations are in the directory m_m_domesticus

the contents of further sub-directories within the species/sub-species directories are
genomes_bam: bam files for each individual plus corresponding index file (.bai)
browser_tracks: analysis files in bed or bigWig format
transcriptomes: (only for M.m.domesticus) bam files and bigWig files for transcriptomes

further subdirectories have their own readme files
