The main research interests are the structure
and dynamics of hydrogen bonded, neutral clusters which play an important
role as solvents: methanol, acetonitrile, hydrazine, ammonia, and water.
The speciality of the group is the size selection of the clusters up to
n=15 by momentum transfer in collisions with rare gas atoms. For larger
clusters, we work with distributions or test new methods. With these clusters
ambitious spectroscopic and scattering
experiments are carried out.
