No subspecies are recognized.
Synonyms
Tenthredo testaceipes Klug, 1816
Dineura testaceipes (Klug, 1816)
Holotype: Female specimen from Vienna area (Austria), in ZMHUB, fide Liston et al. 2019.
Dineura ventralis Zaddach, 1859
Pontania ancilla Konow, 1901
Dineura testaceipes nigriventris Enslin, 1915
Lectotype: Female specimen from Liebenburg (Niedersachsen, Germany), in ZSM, designated by Liston et al. 2019.

Dineura parcivalvis and Dineura testaceipes are often treated as synonyms, but Liston et al. (2019) regard both as valid species based on differences in larval host plant and penis valve morphology, and because a phylogenetic sequence analysis of partial sequences of COI and TPI genes place the two taxa in separate clades. I follow this notion here.
Identification
No information has been entered yet.
Distribution
Widely distributed in Europe and Asia.
Biology
Main larval host plant is rowan (genus Sorbus), but other host plants have been reported as well (e.g. Crataegus spp., Cotoneaster spp.) (Liston et al. 2019).
