Biology
The species is a parasite of flies of the genus Calliphora (records so far comprise Calliphora lilaea and Calliphora terraenovae). Because these two Calliphora species have not yet been recorded from Germany, the host species in Germany is so far unknown. Adults apparently emerge during late summer and early fall, the so far only record of Alysia alticola from Germany is from mid September (Peris-Felipo 2016).
