Distribution
Distributed worldwide in tropical areas (Africa, Australia, Central
America, southern Asia). Not native in Germany, but repeatedly imported
with wood products.
Hoerren (2016)
reports a find in a piece of furniture (imported from Indonesia) from
the Saarland and list previous imports in Bayern, Niedersachsen,
Schleswig-Holstein, Baden-Württemberg, and Rheinland-Pfalz.
