Identification

Distribution

Relict distribution in Central Europe: isolated populations exist in southern Poland, western Czech Republic, southern Belgium, Austria (widely distributed), northern Italy. In Germany: local populations in Böhmerwald, Bayerischer Wald, Regensburg, Nürnberg, Vogelsberg, Fichtelgebirge, Erzgebirge. Continuous populations exist in the bavarian Alps.
