  Mathematician, lecturer, and researcher working as subject librarian at the Göttingen State and University Library. Responsible for Mathematics and Computer Science. Overall project coordinator of all activities related to the "Mathematics Information Service" funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Scientific contact person for the Central Ar­chive for German Mathematics Bequests.

  Teaching expertise ranges across Differential Geometry, Global Analysis, Mathematical Physics, Mathematics Information Services, Information Literacy, Electronic Publishing, and History of Mathematics.

  Current research interests include issues in Scholarly Information and Communication, Digital Libraries, Information Systems as well as the History of Mathematics and Science. The latter with a focus on the role of the German mathematician, astronomer, educator, philosopher, and inventor Erhard Weigel, who is considered to be a key figure in the de­vel­op­ment of the mathematical sciences in the 17th century.
