w2p translates TrueType fonts into Postscript fonts. It is based on ttf2pt1. (Shell script)

p2ltx generates all the files necessary in order to do LaTeX with Postscript fonts. The construction of the mathematical style files follows an idea of Vincent Zoonekynd. (Shell scripts)

ttflist gives the names of all glyphs in a TrueType font. Expects Unicode. (Shell script)


Finally,
cm.map.

With the standard pdftex.map and hoekwater.map pdflatex generated pdf files that were not printable on a genuine postscript printer as soon as Computer Modern fonts occurred. It works with this modification. I do not claim I would understand why ... .
