Dr. Timothy Olubisi Adejumo

Dr. Timothy Olubisi Adejumo is a Research Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany and Senior Lecturer at Dept. of Microbiology, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria. His research is on Fusarium toxins of maize from Nigeria; this involves the use molecular methods for identification and differentiation of Fusarium spp. and advanced chemical analysis of mycotoxin content.

Dr. Adejumo has many years of teaching and research experience in Microbiology and Plant Pathology. He has several academic publications in reputable local and international journals and has participated in international conferences, workshops and seminars. Dr. Adejumo joined the Department of Molecular Phytopathology in December, 2005 and will be working with Prof. Dr. Petr Karlovsky.
