General

The Division of Plant Pathology and Crop Protection of the University of Göttingen comprises four sections of the Department of Crop Sciences of the Georg-August University of Göttingen:

• Agricultural Entomology
  Head: Prof. Dr. Stefan Vidal

• General Plant Pathology and Crop Protection
  Head: Prof. Dr. Andreas von Tiedemann

• Molecular Phytopathology and Mycotoxin Research
  Head: Prof. Dr. Petr Karlovsky

• Plant Virology
  Head: JunProf. Dr. Mark Varrelmann

The Department of Crop Sciences was founded in January 2006 by joining 15 institutes and laboratories engaged in research and teaching in crop production. The Division of Plant Pathology and Crop Protection is located at the "North Campus" of the University of Göttingen - refer to the link "How to approach us".
