Research Experience

During my PhD program I have gained rich practical experience to execute variety of rapidly expanding air-sensetive penta- and hexa-coordinated phosphorus/arsenic compounds and antimony and tin cages and clusters. I also had an excelent opportunity to understand the innat beauty and challenge of these areas through literature survey and timely conference with my research supervisor Dr. K. C. Kumara Swamy in Central University of Hyderabad at India. At the present time, my interests are centered around the synthesis and structure of organometallic compounds. I am currently concentrating on the use of silsesquioxanes as possible building blocks involving transition metals and main group elements and calixarene and/or phosphinimine based cages which are to be used as ligands for transition metals and cage forming units. In addition, I am working on water soluble phosphine catalysts.
