Regulation of carbon catabolism in Gram-positive bacteria

Our group works on different aspects of the regulation of carbon catabolism in Gram- positive bacteria. Genes encoding catabolic enzymes are often induced by the respective carbon source and repressed by glucose. We are studying three regulatory mechanisms:
